SKAKAYLA THOMAS

The Atlanta Monarchs would like to welcome Shakayla Thomas to the team.

Thomas, a Florida State alum, was the 23rd overall pick in the 2018 WNBA draft. Thomas will go down as one of the top players in Florida State Seminoles Women's Basketball history, finishing second all-time in points (1,971) and fields goals made (851). She joins Leticia Romeo as the only three-time All-American in program history. Top 10 all-time at FSU in rebounds, points per game, and games played. She averaged 14.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and shot 51.9% from the floor in her 135 game career.

Elem Ibiam is a 6'4 center, South Carolina Gamecocks alum whose name is all over the South Carolina Women's Basketball record books.

RAVEN NORTHCROSS-BAKER

The Atlanta Monarchs are pleased to sign Raven Northcross-Baker for the 2019 season.

Baker will be joining the Monarchs after her graduation from the University of Arkansas on May 10th. Raven played two seasons for Arkansas Razorback Women's Basketball after transferring from Chipola College. She scored 283 points and had 122 rebounds in two seasons with the Razorbacks. A member of a team that set single season records for points scored, field goals attempted, 3-point field goals made and attempted, defensive rebounds, games played and total minutes. She helped Arkansas upset three ranked teams to reach the SEC Tournament finals for the first time in program history and paced Arkansas into the program’s seventh WNIT appearance reaching the third round.

AJA WILLIAMS

The Atlanta Monarchs are pleased to welcome to the team CSU Bakersfield Women's Basketball standout Aja Williams!

In her senior year at CSU Bakersfield, Aja led the Roadrunners in scoring with 12.0 points per game, was second on the team in made three-pointers (39), finished the season with the second-most rebounds on the team (166), totaled 58 assists, second-best on the squad, was named to the Preseason All-WAC second team and earned first team All-WAC honors.

After a stellar career at CSU, Aja played professionally for CD Talent in Santander, Cantabria, Spain.
